Lace Cross

This ornate cross is knitted as a wide lace strip of just 4 rows, then shaped during bind off using an interesting seamless construction. Instructions are provided for making with or without beads. The Lace Cross can be used as a bookmark, communion or Easter gift, mounted and framed, or a thoughtful Christian token of friendship.

Beads (optional): size 8/0 (3 mm diameter)
Construction: Knitted flat as a wide strip and formed into a cross as stitches are bound off
Options: Choice of beaded or unbeaded. (beads are strung on yarn before casting on)
Special techniques: Beaded cast on; center double decrease bind off
