Create a statement in lace, and wear it with pizzazz. Projects for a sash, a long wrap scarf, and a skinny necktie are included in this pattern. Slimming chevrons and stylized fleur-de-lis arranged symmetrically in narrow lace bands are knitted from end-to-end in one piece. No grafting or seams to sew.

Three projects are included in The Skinny on Lace pattern - Sash, Necktie and Long Wrap Scarf - giving you options to knit with anything from lace weight to sport/DK yarn. All stitch patterns are charted; the stitch patterns to make the Long Wrap Scarf and for the beginning of the other projects are also presented in text format.

The Skinny on Lace knitted in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock yarn in color #46 Jeans. For the sash, I used just under ¾ of a skein and ended up with a 90" sash. So one should be able to get two of the 60" sashes out of just one skein!

The Skinny on Lace long scarf version knitted in Serenity cotton-rayon by Heritage Yarns in the colorway Atlantic Moonglow. Serenity comes in a huge skein 8 ounce skein, so there is plenty to make looooong scarves like this one (8 ½ feet!) and still have lots of yarn left over to make something else. I love how this extra-long scarf can be wrapped and tied in so many ways.
